NAC extends deadline for funding applications to 19 June 2020

In the wake of the global Covid-19 pandemic and observing social distancing, The National Arts Council (NAC) has decided to extend the deadline for arts project funding applications to 19 June 2020, to accommodate those arts practitioners who have been unable to apply due to the Covid-19 outbreak and national lockdown.

The NAC will announce a call for artists to present projects that can, with the use of digital innovation, continue to build capacity, educate, entertain and enlighten, as the arts do, during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Individuals and registered arts organisations now have more time to revise and finalise their applications for funding and also align their proposals to the COVID-19 etiquettes of observing social distancing. A new call with guidelines will be posted on the NAC website soon.
