Update on the Issuing of Rejection Letters to the Unsuccessful AOSF Applicants

Update on the Issuing of Rejection Letters to the Unsuccessful AOSF Applicants

Following the announcement of outcomes for the Arts Organisation Support Funding (AOSF) on 13 April 2023, we can confirm that unsuccessful applicants are currently being issued with formal rejection letters stating one of the three categories of rejections that may apply to an applicant. These three categories are Compliance, Artistic Merit and Budgetary Constraints.

The National Arts Council (NAC) is ensuring that the staff are adequately resourced  to process the large number of applications we are receiving and also to minimize any errors which may occur during the process that may place the NAC at loggerheads with Industry.

Should an unsuccessful applicant wish to inquire further or wish the NAC to elaborate on a rejection category, we have published on all our social media sites and website the contact details of all the NAC Arts Development Officers that applicants can use to communicate with us. We would be available to provide further information to the applicants.
