Further to the initial announcement (6 August 2021) of the National Arts Council of South Africa’s (NAC) call for project applications, the NAC is pleased to be receiving a high number of applications related to the Call.

The NAC has been made aware of the difficulties experienced by art practitioners in timeously obtaining tax certificates to meet the deadline of 17 September 2021.

All applicants must ensure that by application date, their Tax Compliance Certificates (Tax Clearance Pins / Certificates) are submitted to NAC.  However, if the tax clearance certificate is not ready by the application deadline, applicants can still submit their application forms.

Applicants should also note that at the contracting stage, they should be fully compliant and have their Tax Compliance Certificates (Tax Clearance Pins / Certificates) submitted to the NAC.

Applicants are reminded that the deadline for the Call for Project Applications is Friday, 17 September 2021 at 17h00.
