Dear NAC Stakeholders,
We’re very cognisant of the fact that Covid-19 will likely have an impact on you and the way you work. So we stand ready with support, advice and practical tips and tools to help you weather the next few months.
In light of South African President Cyril Ramaphosa’s address to the nation on the critical steps that the country is taking to curb the spread of Covid-19, the NAC is taking precautionary and safety measures to ensure that the wellbeing of our team, our beneficiaries and all those we interact with remains top priority, as well as to adhere to the call of the President.
The NAC will continue supporting our beneficiaries as per our mandate. We are currently working from our offices, the big change will be that our face-to-face meetings, updates and contact sessions will now happen in the relative safety of cyberspace. This will be through conferencing tools or even telephonically. Do not worry – our team will work with you to ensure that we use a system that you’re comfortable with. And, commit to be reachable and ready to assist.
Here’s the bottom line: we know that this will be a trying time for people everywhere in the world. But we also know that it is critical that we all respond to this crisis with kindness, creativity, responsibility and consideration for each other. To our recently funded Beneficiaries; we encourage you to submit your reports as we wish to release the second tranche of funding without any further delays. We are cognisant of the fact that events may need to be postponed and we encourage you to revise your timelines accordingly.
Please continue to submit your applications online as the closing date is still 30 April 2020. Also, continue utilising the NAC’s online application made easy video to guide you with your applications – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtBkra7VBqw&t=7s
Therefore, stay healthy, wash those hands and we’ll catch up with you online!
Sincerely
Rosemary Mangope
