NAC Statement on the Postponement of Arts Organisation Support Funding Outcomes Announcement

On 25 November 2022, The National Arts Council of South Africa (NAC) opened the call for applications for Art Organisation Support Funding (AOSF), a three-year funding program for registered organisations that are active in the arts sector within the disciplines of Craft, Dance, Literature, Music, Multidiscipline, Theatre and Visual Arts. The call  closed on 9 January 2023.

The announcement of the outcomes for the applications of the AOSF call was scheduled to be made on 10 March 2023.  However, due to the assessment proceses not yet being completed, the NAC is postponing the announcement of the outcomes of the AOSF Call.

NAC Council and Management will communicate the new date of the announcement within the next two weeks. The NAC would like to apologise to the AOSF applicants for any inconvenience caused by the postponement of the announcement of the outcomes.

Management is working hard to ensure the funding outcomes have gone through a fair and quality controlled process reflective of our strategic mission to provide support to the arts by delivering economic and artistic opportunities.

We Thank You.
