The National Arts Council is pleased to announce the call for block institutional bursary applications for the current academic year which begins in January 2022. The invitation is ONLY for registered education and training institutions, universities, colleges, etc. which are involved in the provision of tuition in the fields of Theatre/Drama, Dance, Crafts, Literature, Multidisciplinary Arts, Music, Visual Arts as well as any other arts-related course.
The invitation extends to Block Institutional Bursary applicants for the support of undergraduate students during 2022. Institutions that apply for funding are required to support undergraduate students for the duration of their undergraduate studies, subject to successful completion of each year of study. Institutions should be prepared to enter into a service level agreement with the NAC in the fulfilment of this requirement.

Applications must be submitted on or before Friday, 25 February 2022 at 23h55pm.
Please note that late and incomplete applications will not be considered, and no exceptions will be made. Funding guidelines can be downloaded from www.nac.org.za. All funding is at the discretion of the NAC.
