The National Arts Council is close to finalising the funding outcomes for the 2019/20 project funding cycle. These will be communicated no later than 30 August 2019, on our website and social media platforms.

We are aware the delay may have negatively impacted on some of our prospective beneficiaries, and sincerely apologise for this inconvenience.

At the same time management is working to correct the delay caused in the processing of applications, we are also reviewing our internal systems and procedures to ensure that this delay is not repeated.

This year’s closing date for funding applications was extended at the request of some organisations in the arts sector, which affected the review process and must be taken into account in future.

We assure you we will make our decisions known as soon as possible.
