Catch “Mies Julie” at Pacofs in Bloemfontein on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of March 2022.

“Mies Julie” is about John and Julie, two people who grew up together, love each other, but are pushed away from each other by their inability to understand each other. John and Julie fight their attraction and their love for each other because of the ties that bind them to different pasts and paths.

In the end, Julie and John spew their anger at each other resulting in Julie taking her own life. John distraught but emboldened by this, takes up the gun and sickle, in his first act of defiance.
