Mr. M Mokhena matriculated in 2004 at Clocolan High School. Furthered his tertiary studies at Central University if Technology, FS in 2004 studying Human Resource Management, in 2005 he became the Cultural Officer for Carnival Committee at Central University of Technology, Free State. In 2006 he was elected as SRC Finance Officer at CUT, FS and 2007 elected as the Public Relations Officer at Central University of Technology, Free State. He served as a member of the Bursary and loans committee at CUT,FS 2006-2007. A graduate for National Diploma and Degree Human Resources Management at the Central University of Technology, FS, currently studying B-Tech Project Management at CUT,FS.

Started working in 2009 as an Intern in Human Resource Directorate at Department of Rural Development and Land Affairs, 2010 got a permanent post as HR Practitioner at the Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation and in 2011 got a promotion as a Special Projects Officer at the Department of Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation. He was the Provincial Coordinator for the young patriots programme from 2017 till 2022 and currently coordinating the Young Creative Programme. He was part of the task team that established Free State Arts and Culture Association in 2012, currently serving as the Media Liaison Officer at the Department of Sport,Arts,Culture and Recreation, Free State Province.
