Call for Expression of Interest for the development of the Soweto Theatre
Call for Expression of Interest for the development of the Soweto Theatre in Jabulani, Soweto in 2012 in one or both of the following: attending a Policy Workshop to contribute towards a policy for the theatre and/or submitting proposals for Theatre Programmes , Productions and/or Services.
Construction of the Soweto Theatre is almost complete. It is being built in a zone of public space within the high density, mixed-use Jabulani CBD.
It will be a multipurpose performing arts centre, for theatre productions, dance, music, film and community gatherings.
Known as the “cultural heart” of the suburb, it includes the existing Jabulani Amphitheatre, parkland, public art and other amenities.
The deadline for expressions of interest for the above is 14 February 2012 - 12h00
Only those parties who express an interest will be allowed to participate and will be supplied with a Declaration of Interest document to be submitted together with a detailed proposal
