Art Source South Africa and Lizamore & Associates are hosting a seminar on Professional Practice and the Business of Arts. Titled “Show me the Money”, this seminar focusses on critical financial aspects of the Visual Art Sector.
The Community Arts and Science Centre’s workshop is now set for the 28th of March 2017 incase you have people who might be interested in attending the workshop.

Art Action for Climate Action: International Conference Fires Up Partnership Between Cities and Artists
The power of the arts to inspire, build awareness and catalyse climate action in cities and beyond is taking centre stage at a gathering of some 50 experts meeting this week at Salzburg Global Seminar, Austria.
Unfortunately the NAC has not finalised the Call for Special Arts Organisation Support Funding intended for the provinces of the Eastern Cape, Northern Cape, North West, Mpumalanga and Free State.
We are saddened by the passing of Thandi Klassen, a Jazz icon. Her beautiful voice and charismatic character will surely be missed by the arts community at large.

Dumisani Dlamini, the chief financial officer (CFO) of the National Arts Council (NAC) has been invited to speak at the 46th annual CFO World Congress of the International Association for Financial Executive Institutes (IAFEI).
The NAC is currently finalising outcomes for the African Language Book Publishing.
Unfortunately the NAC has not finalised the Goree Festival Outcomes as yet. We have received quite a number of applications for participation in the festival.
