Moshe is currently the Head of Communications for the JSE listed Spur Corporation, based in Cape Town. Born and bred in Gugulethu, Moshe received a Hamilton Mvelase Bursary and matriculated from Bishops in 1997.
He is a Trustee of the Bishops Trust, which raises funds for the school and particularly the Hamilton Mvelase Bursary Fund, a vehicle that affords previously disadvantaged boys a chance to attend the prestigious school. Moshe is a member of the Board of Trustees of the African Scholars Fund, a non- profit organization that assists secondary school learners in both the Eastern and Western Cape. Moshe also serves on the board of the National Arts Council of South Africa, appointed by the Minister of Arts and Culture.
Moshe is a member of the Institute of Directors South Africa, where he has completed courses in Board Effectiveness and Corporate Governance. He has been in the marketing and communications industry for the last 7 years, starting as the first Marketing Manager for Gugulethu Square Shopping Centre from 2010 to 2012. He was the Project Manager leading the street renaming project in Gugulethu on behalf of the City of Cape Town and the ground-breaking Name Your Hood project. This initiative was a first for a South African township.
Subsequent to that, Moshe was selected amongst a panel of experts to assist with the renaming process within the Naming Committee of the City of Cape Town. From 2015 to August 2017, Moshe worked at Independent Media head office as the communications officer for the group, and then the marketing and brand officer for the Cape Times.
In 2017, Moshe completed the Management Development Programme (MDP) at the University of Stellenbosch – Executive Development Business School. He is married to Matomelo and they have a son Neo, born in November 2017.
