Multi - Discipline

Funding Criteria

Definition:

Projects applications that incorporate 2 or more distinctly different arts disciplines.

Eligibility:

South African groups, individuals, organizations & institutions.

Types of Projects:

  • Festivals.
  • Arts Centres (Arts programmes  and activities)
  • Cultural Events
  • Extra – curricular arts programmes and activities
  • Touring in SA & Abroad.

Budgetary Items

  • Project related costs

Categories not funded

  • Infrastructure development, ongoing salaries and expenses, capital expenditure

Time Frame:

The maximum period for which funding may be requested is twelve months.

Bursaries:

  • Arts administration (post- graduate individuals only)
  • International bursaries only available if the course is not available in SA. Consideration can be given if the candidate has a proven track record and excellence and the course will enhance their further advancement.
  • Block funding for institutions (tertiary + community education centres)
